Open to full-time roles leading marketing at cybersecurity and AI companies

Pipeline a CRO trusts. Spend a CFO can defend. Growth a CEO can count on.

I'm a marketing leader who turns pipeline into profitable growth. In 15+ years at VMware, RingCentral, Automation Anywhere, Zoom and Forcepoint, I've led teams of up to 126 people and budgets up to $66M. I'm looking for my next full-time, permanent role leading marketing at a cybersecurity or AI company with hard problems to solve.

The growth problems leaders lose sleep over, and how I've solved them.

For the CRO

“Sales doesn't trust marketing's pipeline.”

I build the ICP with sales, not for them. At Automation Anywhere, I ran ICP workshops with the CRO and his regional leaders and added intent data. Intent-qualified accounts converted to opportunities at 70%+, up from mid single digits.

For the CFO

“Our marketing spend isn't paying back.”

I move money to what works and cut what doesn't. At Zoom, revenue on marketing spend grew from 1X to 2.3X, and MQL-to-opportunity conversion doubled from 8% to 16%. At Automation Anywhere, I cut demand gen spend 20%+ and improved spend-to-pipeline efficiency 50%.

For the CEO

“Our story sounds like yesterday's market.”

I reposition the company around the market it wants to win. At Forcepoint, I helped move a legacy data security vendor to AI Data Security leader with a use-case campaign and a 32-city world tour. We hit 110% of the sourced pipeline target and 5X out-quarter coverage, and sales hit quota 5 straight quarters.

For the CPO

“Our launches don't move pipeline.”

I launch where we can win, then go deep. At VMware, a new disaster-recovery product was stalling with spend spread across the whole US. I used FEMA disaster data and installed-base analysis to focus on one winnable market, Houston. Pipeline rose 30% and brand recall rose 50%.

For the CRO

“Too many reps don't have enough pipeline.”

I put marketing in the room with every rep who needs help. At RingCentral, cross-functional Pipeline PODs took 10 of 15 at-risk reps to 3X coverage in one quarter and added $12.5M in pipeline with no added spend. At Zoom, a Pipeline Council of sales, marketing and channel grew quarterly pipeline creation 40%.

For the Chief Partner Officer

“Our partners aren't bringing us deals.”

I make partners part of the pipeline plan, not an afterthought. At VMware, I built a distributor milestone program that rewarded partners for each step from sign-up to enablement, demand gen and first booking. With a 3-person team and $2M, it drove $99.4M in bookings across 60 distributors, 1,600 partners and 25 countries.

For the CHRO

“Our marketing team isn't engaged.”

I lead with recognition and a clear vision. At Automation Anywhere, pandemic layoffs took team eNPS to -30. I focused us on what we were doing right, thanked people personally, shared the demand org we were building and celebrated every milestone. eNPS rose to +32 in 18 months, and the share of SDRs at quota rose from under 30% to 80%.

For the CMO

“Prospects won't take our meetings.”

I put customers in front of their peers. At Automation Anywhere, buyers stopped taking calls during the pandemic. I paired our CIO, who implemented the solution, and the business leader who had the problem with prospects in matching roles. It generated $800K in pipeline on $0 spend and became our #1 pipeline-converting program, rolled out globally. I ran the same play for Forcepoint's AI Data Security Tour.

For the CEO

“We know AI should change how we go to market. We don't know where to start.”

I've already done it, hands-on. For my consulting practice, I built an AI-run go-to-market engine on ChatGPT, Clay and HubSpot. It researched and scored 100 CMOs and personalized every touch, which led to 10 meetings and 2 signed clients. For two clients, I built AI agents that turned my expertise into how-to playbooks for new hires. One became the client's own virtual-coach GPT, and the other is still in use 12 months later.

How I work

Find demand. Convert it. Run it like a system.

  1. 01

    Find demand

Agree on the ICP with sales first. Then use intent signals, account scoring and buying-committee mapping, so marketing and sales chase the same accounts at the right moment.

  2. 02

    Convert it

Full-funnel campaigns across digital, field, partner and peer-to-peer channels, built around problems we solve for our customers.

  3. 03

    Run it like a system

A shared planning rhythm with sales, with metrics that matter to each e-staff member. AI agents take on the repeatable work: researching and scoring accounts, personalizing outreach, moving data between tools and coaching new hires. Every dollar ties to pipeline, and the team spends its time on providing value to the customer.

Case study

My job search, run by an AI marketing team

My consulting engine was version one. Twelve months later, I rebuilt it on the latest AI agents, and it's running this job search. Why? Because hiring a marketing leader is a lot like a B2B buying decision. The agents cover every function of a B2B marketing org, from market intelligence and content to outreach and attribution. The funnel below is live. Imagine the same engine pointed at your ICP.
